Two roads diverged① in a yellow wood，
And sorry I could not travel both.
And be one traveler， long I stood

金色的树林路分两条，

多年以后在某个地方，
我将轻声叹息把往事回顾：
树林里路分两条，而我——
选择了行人较少的那条，
就这样一切便发生了改变。
在生活中需要做出很多的抉择，在抉择面前有时候会令人们感觉到手足无措，这就如同面对分歧的道路，为了选择哪一条路而踌躇不前。在这首诗中，诗人表达了自己的看法，表达了他对人生的哲学：选择较少人走的道路，也许这条道路路途崎岖、前途未知，有着很多的风险，也许会遇到很多的困难，但却是自己坚持要走的路，自己不会觉得后悔。这样就不会在茫茫人海中随波逐流，逐渐迷失自己的方向，这份抉择的勇气与决心令人佩服，只要坚持到底，就会取得成功，实现自己的梦想。
