1990年，梭尔继续建设太阳城，在城中开辟了更为奢华和神秘的一片领域，那就是传说中的失落之城。
梭尔的初衷就是打造一个顶级的豪华娱乐区，整个太阳城洋溢着的味道就是一种享乐主义，时时处处都吸引游客尽情释放自身的玩乐细胞。

The Unique Hotel Culture 独特的酒店文化
There are a total of four hotels in the Sun City. From the entrance to inside， there respectively are： the three-star Cabanas Hotel， the four-star Sun City Hotel， the five-star Falls Hotel and the super-star Palace Hotel.
Cabanas Hotel
The facilities of this hotel are very modern. The services are as good as other hotels， but relatively inexpensive. Cabanas Hotel is near children’s playground and water sports center. Most of the rooms are family rooms， suitable for family holidays.
Sun City Hotel
This is the first Hotel in the Sun City， which has a broad field of vision. The visitors can overlook Gary Player Golf Course. The reason of attracting a lot of people is the casino in the lobby. There is only Chinese restaurant in the Sun City named Orchid Restaurant.
Falls Hotel
The hotel is named for the exquisite design of the waterfall pool， it is close to the entertainment center， surrounded by the garden. The environment is elegant and pleasant. Visitors can enjoy various leisure and entertainment facilities at any time.
Palace Hotel
The Palace Hotel is the most expensive and luxurious hotel in the Sun City， and one of Africa’s most famous， luxury hotels. The appearance of the hotel looks like a castle. The shape and decoration of the towers， arches， walls， pillars are full of African culture. And all the details of the facility inside reflect the themes of grassland and animals.
It is really an African castle. It looks rough and psychedelic in an African style. Many places show the unique African style with wild animals as subjects.
太阳城一共只有四个酒店，从入口开始由外而内依次是：三星级的卡巴纳斯酒店、四星级的太阳城酒店、五星级的瀑布酒店和超五星级的皇宫酒店。
卡巴纳斯酒店
这个酒店的房间设施非常现代化，服务也和其他几座酒店同样周到，而价格相对低廉。卡巴纳斯酒店靠近儿童运动场和水上运动中心，房间大部分为家庭客房，适合家庭度假。
太阳城酒店
这是太阳城的第一座酒店，这里视野开阔，游客可以俯瞰加里·普莱尔高尔夫球场。吸引很多人来到太阳城的原因之一是设在大堂的赌场。酒店中有太阳城唯一的中餐厅，那就是兰花餐厅。
瀑布酒店
酒店因设计别致的瀑布泳池而得名，它紧靠娱乐中心，围花园环绕，环境优雅怡人，游客可以随时享用各种休闲娱乐设施。
皇宫大酒店
皇宫大酒店是太阳城最昂贵、最豪华的酒店，也是非洲最著名的豪华酒店之一。酒店外观如同城堡，塔楼、拱顶、墙壁、廊柱等造型和装饰布满非洲文化韵味，内部设施的一切细节更是处处体现草原和动物的主题。
皇宫酒店其实是一个非洲城堡，它的外观充满非洲粗犷与迷幻风格，很多地方用野生动物作为题材，显示非洲的独特风情。
The Rich Dining Customs 丰盛的餐饮风俗
There are dozens of restaurants in Sun City， in addition to hotels and entertainment facilities with restaurants， the golf course， lakes， animal farms can be found. Each restaurant’s decor is unique characteristic， specially attention to the blend of internal and external environment， even in the room guests have a picnic feeling in the nature.
It is oriented by exquisite and authentic Western food， and you can enjoy African barbecue， oriental food， and other food， too.
In Sun City， entertainment center and the gambling of casino hotels have fast food， such as hamburgers， hot dogs， Coke， etc.， is the most economical choice.
By the swimming pool and in the garden， there are bars. You can order a cup of soft drinks， sitting on the couch to enjoy an afternoon of sunshine， so pleasant.

39. Cape of Good Hope：Eastern Route to Wealth 通往财富的东方航道——好望角
Cape of Good Hope is located at the southwestern tip of Africa. It is a very famous promontory with the name meaning“cape of good hope”， but in fact it is the world’s most dangerous sailing locations.
好望角是位于非洲西南端非常著名的岬角，名字的意思是“美好希望的海角”，但它却是世界上最危险的航海地段。
The Cape of Good Hope 美好希望的海角
The Cape of Good Hope is a landmark of Cape Town. It locates in the southwestern tip of South Africa， north to Cape Town about 48 km away， west to Atlantic Ocean， north to the Cape Peninsula. It is one of South Africa’s tourist destinations. Before the Suez Canal opened， it was the seaway that must be passed through from Europe to Asia. After the Suez Canal opened， if the large oil tankers couldn’t go into the Suez Canal， they must pass here. The Cape of Good Hope is often mistaken as the continent’s southern tip， in fact， Cape Agulhas is really the southern tip of Africa.
“The Cape of Good Hope” means “the cape with a good hope”， but it finally was called “Storm Corner”. The water around the Cape of Good Hope is the intersection of Atlantic and Indian Ocean areas. There are current tidal waves caused by the collision all the year round. So， the first European coming here， named it “Storm Corner”. It is the way to the wealth of the East. As long as you passed by here， you could have a chance to reach the East and get the wealth. The King of Portugal renamed it “the Cape of Good Hope”.
The National Park in Cape of Good Hope is now the world-famous attraction. The Cape of Good Hope has numerous reasons to attract you. You can breathe the fresh air， watch the wonderful intersection of warm flow and cold flow from the West Bank and East Coast； see one of the world’s highest sea cliffs. There are more than 250 species of birds inhabiting here， liking a paradise for birdwatchers. There are more than 1，100 species of plants . It is the home of a variety of wild animals including bucks， rams， rabbits， baboons， etc.
好望角是开普敦的地标，在南非的西南端，北距开普敦48公里左右，西濒大西洋，北连开普半岛。在苏伊士运河未开通之前，它是欧洲通往亚洲的海上必经之地，至今特大油轮如果无法进入苏伊士运河，仍需以此道航行。好望角常被误认为是非洲大陆的最南端，但事实上阿古拉斯角才是非洲最南端。
