All the Pilgrims who went to Mecca had been to Medina. During the annual pilgrimage period， the people going to Medina are the same with the ones visiting Mecca. Medina is four hundred kilometers away from the north of Mecca. It has fertile land with rich grasses surrounded by farmland and orchards. The economy is prosperous and the transportation is convenient. The Pre- name for Islamic was Yasilibu. In 622 AD， the Prophet Muhammad accepted the revelation of God to “migrate from Mecca to Medina and created the earth’s first Islamic town， renamed Medina， which means the “the city of the prophet”.
After the migration in 622 AD， the nobility of Mecca hated Muslims， and organized many armed tribal alliance and launched an armed invasion to the new Muslim community in Medina. Today in the outskirts of Medina， you can still see the ancient battlefield. The local tour guides will point to the hills and ravines to tell people about the battles led by the Prophet Muhammad to defense Medina. The leadership of the Prophet Muhammad received the victory of the first generation of Muslim， and consolidated the Islamic regime. In 630 AD， the Prophet Muhammad led people to return to Mecca to perform the Hajj， recovered the ancient shrine of Mecca， cleared all the other idols and identified the immutable rituals for pilgrimage.
麦地那是伊斯兰教先知穆罕默德创建伊斯兰教初期的政治、宗教活动中心，也是他的安葬地。
麦地那先知寺是伊斯兰教第二大圣寺，又称麦地那清真寺。坐落在沙特阿拉伯麦地那的白尼·纳加尔区，是中东地区重要的清真寺。
凡是奔赴麦加朝觐的人，都去过麦地那，每年朝觐期间访问麦地那的人同在麦加一样多。麦地那位于麦加之北400公里处，是三面环山水草丰盛的肥沃土地，周围有良田和果园，经济发达，交通方便。伊斯兰之前的名称是亚斯里布，公元622年先知穆罕默德接受真主启示从麦加向那里“迁移”，创立了地球上第一座伊斯兰新城，改名为麦地那·奈宾伊，意思是“先知之城”。
公元622年迁移之后，麦加的贵族对穆斯林怀有深仇大恨，多次组织部落联盟武装向麦地那新建的穆斯林社会发动武装入侵。今天在麦地那郊外，仍旧可以看到当年的古战场，当地的导游会指着那些山丘和沟壑告诉人们当年先知穆罕默德领导保卫麦地那的白德尔战役和伍侯德战役。先知穆罕默德领导的第一代穆斯林大获全胜，巩固了伊斯兰政权，公元630年，先知穆罕默德领导万人返回麦加去朝觐，光复了麦加古圣地，清除了不信道人们崇拜的各种偶像，先知穆罕默德同时为朝觐确定了永久不变的礼仪。

The old Medina is not big， but the terrain is very complex. There are winding paths， arched channels， as well as dynamic markets of Arab countries， which together form a huge maze.
The old Medina retains the style of 500 years ago， reflected in the heart of the history of Tunisia. A number of mysterious Islamic style buildings witnessed the long history of the city.
Medina was not a modern building in town. Most of the buildings are the two three-storey buildings. Streets are narrow， only two opposite through. These represent a strong atmosphere of Arab customs.
Most of the old residents of the city are merchants， and maintained a small workshop dispersed. The streets of the city are the focus areas of traditional commerce， showing a bustling scene of Arab markets.
The mysterious scenery attracts thousands of tourists. The ones come to Medina， can not only enjoy the spectacular scenery， but also experience the authentic life of local residents.

Mecca and Medina：the Birthplace of God Light 麦加和麦地那——真主光亮的发源地
Mecca and Medina， the two holy cities are heart to heart. Mecca is the substation of God’s light， and Medina is the light of God’s substation， changing the truth of Islam into a pragmatic action.
There are Kerr houses were built by the ancient Prophet Ibrahim in Mecca. It is the world’s most auspicious place and the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad. The Allah sent the last messenger Prophet Muhammad there and sent down The Koran in Mecca.
The Prophet Muhammad and his disciples suffered the persecution of the unbelievers in Mecca. The Allah revealed that they migrated to Medina to develop， where there were beautiful natural environments and friendly people. The Prophet Muhammad turned the Koran spirits into social practice， created the first Muslim society and developed the Islamic rituals and social management of the legal system.
If Mecca is the birthplace of Islam and the Muslim in Mecca is the population base of Islamic society， Medina is the first step for the Islamic to the world. Because in the Medina， the Prophet Muhammad began to spread Islam to the groups of different faiths and different ethnics. Today if you come to Medina， you can see the pluralistic civilization everywhere. All ethnic groups respect and forgive each other.

In Medina， you can feel yourself like coming the brother’s home to convey Allah’s teachings， receiving infinite care from the Prophet Muhammad.

麦加有古代先知易卜拉欣建造的克尔白天房，是世界上最吉祥的地方，先知穆罕默德在那里诞生，真主选派先知穆罕默德为最后使者，在麦加开始向他降示《古兰经》。
