不要将别人认为重要的东西当作自己的人生目标，只有你自己知道什么最适合你。

做你自己，千万不要相信你听到的一切闲话（Don't believe all the gossip you hear.），更不要议论他人的是非长短（Don't gossip about other people.），避免成为一个长舌的人（Don't be a gossip）。gossip就是俗称的“八卦”，也就是“流言蜚语”的意思。一般人会在街头巷尾听到流言蜚语（People hear gossip in every nook and corner of the town），或喜欢在茶余饭后议论八卦（People gossip over tea or at meals）。因此，我们会说流言蜚语不胫而走（Gossip travels fast）。
