1.当被别人介绍时,可以说“How do you do.”(幸会。)或“I m glad to meet you.”(很高兴认识你。)。

My name is Jimmy,Jimmy Lin. 3约会 3Making an Appointment3Making an

4Asking for Help4Asking for Help

如果爱莫能助,也会当场说明理由,加以拒绝:“I think I ll be able to help you,but...” 5问路 5Asking the Way5Asking the Way 问路

7Thanks and Answers7Thanks and Answers

(1)当别人为你端上一杯茶、一杯咖啡或一份饭时;

(2)当别人把你要的东西递给你时;

(3)当有人给你指路时;

(4)当别人送给你礼物时;

另外,英美人有时将“Thank you” 简说成“K’you”([kju])。

9Agreement and Disagreement9Agreement and

见到衣服整洁、穿着得体的男士可以说:“You are so smart today.”(你今天真帅。);当遇到女士说:“You are so smart today.”

If you were punctual,I would be very glad.

You should have finished the work this morning.

1.承认对方确实处于某种不好的境地,这是安慰话语的前提;

2.要针对对方忧愁或悲哀的心情说话,这是安慰话语的重点;

Sometimes people come into your life and you come to realize that they were meant to be there,to serve some sort of purpose,teach you a lesson,or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become.You never know who these people may be (possibly your roommate,neighbor,co worker,long lost friend,lover,or even a complete stranger),but when you lock eyes with them,you know in an instant that they will affect your life in some profound way.

You can make of your life anything you wish.Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.Most importantly,if you LOVE someone tell him or her,for you never know what tomorrow may have in store.
