①这首歌是音乐剧《音乐之声》（1965年初搬上银幕）里的主题歌，O.哈默斯坦作词，R.罗杰斯作曲。
故事片《音乐之声》描写生性活泼、热爱自然、不安心当修女的姑娘玛丽亚。故事发生在第二次世界大战前的奥地利。实习修女玛丽亚因热爱大自然、常因欣喜于大自然的山青水秀及鸟语花香而流连忘返并因此违背教规。修道院院长决定派她去一个退役海军上校家里当家庭教师。玛丽亚给孩子们带去音乐、爱心，获得七个孩子的喜爱。最后，上校也爱上了她并与她结婚。
这首歌出现两次。一次是电影开始时玛丽亚领略自然的良辰美景之后慌忙赶回修道院。另一次是为欢迎男爵夫人而安排的合唱。这一曲“音乐之声”还唤醒了上校对自然及青春岁月的美好回忆，更重要的是，唤醒了上校的爱心。
