As/So long as... 只要……
“as/so long as”是表示唯一条件的句型。它们所引导的条件从句的谓语动词，往往是一些持续性动词或联系动词，翻译为：“只要……就……”。

but for... 若不是……
“but for”是虚拟的条件句，由“if it were not for”、“if it had not been for”简缩而来。表示对过去事实的回想或对将来事实的推测，多用虚拟式谓语。翻译为“若不是……”。

句型“主句+unless+从句”主句中的谓语要用否定式，从句的谓语是肯定式，本句型是从反面来表示条件的一种句子，在“unless”引导的肯定形式的条件从句中通常可以加肯定词，如：already、still、some、too等，翻译为“除非……”。
