Supposing/suppose... 假设……
句型“Supposing/suppose...”的标准形式是“Supposing/suppose+that+从句，主句”这是个假设句，表示一项建议或者作为一种假设，动词可以用现在式或过去式。“Supposing”引导的从句可以独立使用，相当于“what if ”句型，也可以看成是省略了主句，翻译为“假设……”“假如……”。

...on condition that... 只要……如果……句型“...on condition that...”的标准形式是“主句+on condition that+从句”，句中“that”可以省略。本句型表示说话人提出的要求完成主句动作所具备的条件，否则该行为不能实现，“that”引导的从句可以用陈述语气，也可以用虚拟语气，翻译为“如果……”、“以……为条件”。
