人类学研究本质上是理论研究,要解决的是人类各民族文化发展的一般规律问题。人类学本土化的意义,就在于怎么把产生于西方的人类学这门学问引进中国,拿来解决我们中国自己的本土问题,甚至包括理论的本土化、对象的本土化、话语的本土化,还包括手段和队伍的本土化。
