心灵寄语
保尔说过，当我们回首往事的时候，能够不为虚度年华而悔恨，能够不因碌碌无为而羞耻。是啊！人生短暂，生命是一分一秒积累而成的，也是一分一秒支付出去的。不论你是谁，都必须牢牢把握生命的分分秒秒。

Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy， I"d have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment4 growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.
When my kids kissed me impetuously5，I would never have said，“Later， Now go get washed up for dinner.”
There would have been more“I love you”……“I"m sorry”……But mostly， given another shot at life， I would seize every minute……look at it and really see it ……live it ……and never give it back.
Stop sweating the small stuff. Don"t worry about who doesn"t like you， who has more， or who"s doing what. Instead， let"s cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us. Let"s think about what God has blessed us with.
And what we are doing each day to promote ourselves mentally， physically， emotionally， as well as spiritually.

壁炉（Fireplace）
壁炉原本用于西方国家，有装饰作用和实用价值。并根据不同国家的文化，分为：美式壁炉、英式壁炉、法式壁炉等，造型因此各异。
壁炉与各种节日也有着密切的关系。在万圣节，最重要的仪式就是点燃炉火，和周围人数一样多的小石头被放置在壁炉中，据说第二天早上如果有一块石头被挪动，主人就会在这一年去世。在圣诞节的早上，孩子们要做的第一件事情就是飞奔到壁炉旁寻找圣诞老人带给他们的礼物。在多塞特的礼拜五节，在壁炉中悬挂一块烤面包据说会保证来年五谷丰登。
壁炉还有一个妙用，人们坐在壁炉旁边注视火苗的变化还可以预测天气的变化，如果火苗是苍白的，或者有很多不正常的火星或者炉灰结成块，或者突然有煤灰掉落，都预示着下雨；如果火苗嗡嗡响，或者烟道有爆裂声并带来比平常更强的风，那么预示着暴风雨将要到来；如果火苗燃烧得更为猛烈，就预示着会有霜冻。火苗成为了天气预报员，壁炉成为连接室内外的一种媒介。
