楚塞三湘接，荆门九派通。
江流天地外，山色有无中。
郡邑浮前浦，波澜动远空。
襄阳好风日，留醉与山翁。
Looking Afar by the Han River

Linking up Chu’s frontiers in the Three Xiang region
And interflowing with Mount Jingmen’s numerous streams，
The Han River surges beyond earth and heaven；
And the mountain light nearby in turn fades and gleams.
On the front shore cities and towns vaguely appear
While under the far-off sky great waves rise and sink.
What wonderful sights can be seen in Xiangyang here！
I’ll stay and with old General Shan have a drink.
