客路青山下，行舟绿水前。
潮平两岸阔，风正一帆悬。
海日生残夜，江春入旧年。
乡书何处达？ 归雁洛阳边。

At the foot of the green mountain， on my journey，
On the blue water my boat is sailing ahead.
The two banks grow wider， as the tide makes its way.
In the fair wind， a single sail is seen to spread.
The sea’s sun appears while the night dwindles away；
Into the old year， is merging the river’s spring.
Who can bring back my home letter， I want to say.
It will be a wild goose to Luoyang returning.
