qualification

n. degree, diploma, etc. 资格证明,(考试)合格证书 awarded at the end of such training 资格,技能 an ability or quality which makes someone suitable for a particular job 取得资格 sth. that modifies or limits 限制,限定性条件

后可接for或to do。qualification作“资格;资格证明,合格证书”解时,是可数名词。如:have a secretarial qualification(有秘书合格证书);a medical qualification(行医证明)。qualification作“取得资格,取得合格证明”解时,是不可数名词。如:Even after qualification jobs were hard to find.(即使在取得资格之后,工作也不容易找。)

quiver和tremble,shiver等词都表示人或动物的发抖,语意最强是shiver,语义最弱是quiver。
