191."Therefore，I've realized that both you and I are the special mixture of love and hatred，good and evil，right and wrong，and union and separation.Meanwhile，I've profoundly thought of that the unity between you and me has exceeded the confinement of love between our parents，and contained feelings of more countries.Do you know what I mean by saying so，Kyuutarou？" Mieko drew his hand gently over her gradually raised belly，"Can't you perceive it？It's so anxious to come to this world，can you feel it，Kyuutarou？This annoying kid，your son is kicking at me again."
192."Kyuutarou，" Mieko continued，"In the face of the advent of our son，shall we hate each other and fool ourselves like before？Shall we..."
193.Kyuutarou was deeply moved by Mieko，his tears rolled down from his eyes.Finally，he murmured in a low voice，"We cannot but choose a new way to live different from the last generation，and we cannot but substitute hatred and hostility for love and harmony." That night，they became reconciled； and they were much satisfied each other.
194.After the communion that night，Kyuutarou and Mieko were back to their usual life which was calm and sweet.
195.When he got home off work，Kyuutarou voluntarily helped Mieko with her business as before，and again，Mieko seized tools out of his hands and asked him to sit and have a rest.Customers again talked about the young couple enviously.
196.Now it was the end of the year.Kyuutarou was awarded by the company because of his excellent work； and Mieko moved into hospital more than 20 days ahead of her delivery.

197.The day before the eve of the New Year，Kyuutarou collected his toothbrush，toothpaste and some other daily articles and put them into a handbag，getting ready to accompany Mieko in hospital when he was soon off work.
198.Just at this moment，a member of his previous action group phoned him.The man on the other end of the line told him that three members were arrested when they took by surprise American seamen who made troubles at a public house.So far，16 of the 19 members in the organization had been taken away by the police.
199.He suggested Kyuutarou traveling out for a little while.Kyuutarou asked，"Why？I've quit from the organization and its leadership for long，I've nothing to do with such things now." But the other end replied that they had not elected a new leader，so Kyuutarou was still the head of the organization.At these words，Kyuutarou felt confused and nervous.
200.It was the same hospital where Kyuutarou was born，the same place which reminded Kyuutarou of his miseries，although enormous changes had taken place.Every time when he stepped in，Kyuutarou would be haunted with indescribable sentiments.Mieko lay in bed quietly.Seeing his arrival，she greeted him merrily，"What good things have you brought me？What fresh things told me？"
201.Kyuutarou took a small beautiful silk figure out of his bag，passing it into Mieko's hand.He said passionately，"I'd send you a small beauty every day，and hope you'll be as beautiful as she is，forever." Mieko replied with a joke，"I'm growing into an old woman.Let's hope our kid to be beautiful."
202.That night，Kyuutarou left the hospital very late.After he got home，he began to write something.He wrote the whole night until the daybreak.
203.Before he left home，Kyuutarou swept the house outside and in before he locked the shop door and left for his office.But when he turned around，he found a police car and four policemen on motorbikes were waiting on the road in front of the door.The policemen read a warrant for arrest，and the charge was that Kyuutarou violated peace law and organized and fomented the violation of the peace law.The police car took Kyuutarou away to a prison.
