Guidance for Reciting
Don't fail to do good even if it is small；don't engage in evil even if it is small. It is these small drops of little things that form the vast sea of life.
Little drops of water，
Little grains of sand，
Make the mighty ocean
And the pleasant land.
Little deeds of kindness，
Little words of love，
Make our earth an Eden.
Like the heaven above.

小小水滴，

口语点津
英语里由water组成的习惯用语较多。现列举几例：
1.in hot water 并不是“在热水中”，而是指“面临严重困难，处于困境”。
2.throw cold water on与汉语“泼冷水”同意。
3.hold water 按字面解释是“盛住水”，但隐含义指“（某人找的借口、提出的理由或说的话）经得起检验，站得住脚”。
4.water off a duck's back指“毫无作用；不起作用”。
5.water under the bridge 就像我们古语里说的“逝者如斯夫”。
