王浚楼船下益州，金陵王气黯然收。
千寻铁锁沉江底，一片降幡出石头。
人世几回伤往事，山形依旧枕寒流。
从今四海为家日，故垒萧萧芦荻秋。

From Yi Prefecture sailed down Wang Jun’s ships of war.
The Jinling ruler’s kingly air was soon no more.
In the river bed sank his long defence chains all；
Surrender flags waved on his capital’s stone wall.
This past event has touched people time and again
While still pillowed on cold waves stands the same mountain.
To-day， the four seas are all under the Royal reign；
Amid autumn reeds those lonely old forts still remain.
