君家何处住？ 妾住在横塘。
停船暂借问，或恐是同乡。

I (The Woman’s)
Tell me where is your dwelling place；
My home is on the riverside.
I stop just the question to raise；
P’rhaps in the same town we reside.
其二
家临九江水，来去九江侧。
同是长干人，生小不相识。
II (The Man’s)
I live on riverside also；
Near river I come up and down.
As child， we each other didn’t know；
In fact， we live in the same town.
