独有宦游人，偏惊物候新。
云霞出海曙，梅柳渡江春。
淑气催黄鸟，晴光转绿。
忽闻歌古调，归思欲沾巾。

Only to officials away from home appeals
The new beauty that in the change of seasons steals：
Rosy clouds come with dawning sun above the sea；
Spring by the river spreads with plum and willow trees.
Orioles sing the more merrily for warm air；
The bright sunshine brings green cloaks for duckweed to wear.
Suddenly someone is heard singing an old song
That nearly moves me to tears for homesickness strong.
