独有宦游人,偏惊物候新。
云霞出海曙,梅柳渡江春。
淑气催黄鸟,晴光转绿。
忽闻歌古调,归思欲沾巾。

Only to officials away from home appeals
The new beauty that in the change of seasons steals:
Rosy clouds come with dawning sun above the sea;
Spring by the river spreads with plum and willow trees.
Orioles sing the more merrily for warm air;
The bright sunshine brings green cloaks for duckweed to wear.
Suddenly someone is heard singing an old song
That nearly moves me to tears for homesickness strong.
