寂寂竟何待，朝朝空自归。
欲寻芳草去，惜与故人违。
当路谁相假？ 知音世所稀。
只应守寂寞，还掩故园扉。

What am I waiting for with life idled away！
Gaining nothing， I come back alone day by day.
I’ll go where I may seclude myself to the end，
But I am loath to part from you， my bosom friend.
Who among those in power is to lend me a hand？
It’s hard to meet a man that can me understand.
I’m doomed to lead a life lonely and desolate.
Back in hometown， I’ll shut again my garden gate.
